How to dismantle an atomic bomb |
-> you'll find more information here about this U2 album ;-) otherwise, I'm glad to say, I have no experience with atomic bomgs whatsoever! But we are talking about how to dismantle - eh - disassemble the Nokia Lumia 1020 Camera Grip. My yellow grip's battery was dead, no charging, so I decided to open it. As I got a new white camera grip with a new battery, I wanted to swap all the inside tech from the white one to the yellow one. |
Don't start lhere - no screws, but useless wholes: |
|
I found it the easiest way to start at this point, because it is not as hard to bend open than from the other backside
As you can see, the rest is easy to open (ok, with a bit of damage here due to my clumsiness)
2 screws here | |
2 more screws holding the battery
be VERY careful with the USB thingy, it broke (on my dead battery), it's a challenge to remove this whole part in a piece without breaking off anything. The case is very hard and very hard to bend.
